The translation of the above saying by Imam Aljawad (peace upon him): “There are two sciences, documented (printed) and audible (listened), and it is not beneficial the audible science  unless it is documented or printed, and who knows the wisdom does not stand to increase more from it. Beauty in the tongue, and perfection in mind.”

What made me think about this say which was before 1200 years ago is what is known today by “Knowledge Management” because if you need to capture knowledge  from minds of people you need tools for it. Most of the knowledge or the tacit knowledge is not beneficial unless it is documented and when it becomes explicit knowledge which means it is printed then many people can gain more knowledge for many years and years. Try to think in the quantity of information that was lost  and still loosing those valuable knowledge from Prophet Adam (first man on earth) till now and how it was important for the development of humanity, how could it be more peace on earth, how life  could be more beautiful, we could reach to the the real wisdom that we seek all the time if we really worked on documentation of the experiences and knowledge of wise people. The subject is so interesting but as it is said:” The good words is what is less and more meaningfull” خير الكلام ما قل و دل
