I saw this video from CBS that talks about the internet freedom around the world. Some of those countries are scary when it comes to internet censoring. Although we have some censoring in Kuwait, other countries control the users in anyway possible. Imagine you can’t access the internet but have like a local internet that you have to use.

They say that social media was the reason why some governments have fallen. I don’t think social media was the reason, I think it is only a channel of communication. At the end it was the people who spoke and changed the rules.

I understand some countries censor the internet for some religious laws and everything. However, if censoring starts to widen to cover other aspects of the internet (such as Social Media sites, Reddit, etc) then that is just unacceptable.
